Where are you from?
Pomona, CA it's a pretty boring city and it's kinda small, but we have a cool venue THE GLASSHOUSE!! so that's about the only exciting thing here...well that and the Fox Theater reopened, oh yes.

When did you start to craft?
Well my neighbor wanted to teach me how to crochet when I was 15 and that's what got it all started again, when I was a little girl I liked to make things here and there but I got more into it by 17 as I started to explore different mediums

How did you hear about Etsy and when did you join?
I forget how I heard about Etsy, I think I was looking on google search results about how to sell your crafts and one blog mentioned Etsy.  I joined Etsy on November 14, 2008.

What kind of market is your work geared towards?

The cute color kind! Basically people who like cutesy asian items that are anime inspired. Because cute is what I aim for :D Also, it's also geared towards people who want to help out animals and in exchange they get and item :D Most of my sales go for animal charity donations, I just save up whatever I make from every sale at the end of the month and make my contribution.

What types of crafts/artwork do you do?
Well my crafts are a bit different from my artworks. For the crafting section I just like to make amigurimi dolls and recently I've dove into book making (not the greatest at it because I can't do fancy shmancy pro lookin' books), I make polymer clay charms and lots and lots of kandi bracelets :D

Artwork section: well...I'm barely going to start trying to sell my artwork on Etsy because I've just been selling my art to friends of friends but it's like the rainbow decided to go on a rampage all over my paper. My art is very very colorful :D but then again it depends what mood I'm in

What kinds of materials do you like to work with?
for my artwork I love love love to mix: watercolors, acrylics, ink, and markers!

crafting: yarn, felt, fabrics, and clay....oh and some paper here and there.

What are your inspirations? 

Asian pop culture (probably due to the fact that I'm asian XD)
as well as nature. I get different ideas from animals and different foods I see. But what mainly inspires me are colors.

What is some advice you could share with other crafters?
It's hard but keep going at it. My mother always said "knock on every door because even though you get lots of 'No's' there will one day be a door that opens up and says 'yes'."

there will eventually be someone who finds you and loves what you do and how you do it, so don't worry if sales aren't coming in or if you're not getting noticed, just keep working at it and trying.

hmmm i hope that is good advice...I wish I had a wiser thing to say
